Illustrator

Two children, twins, lay in darkness. On the left, a child rests surrounded by glowing spider lilies, in his hands laid across his chest is a spider lily. Beneath his head is a shadowy sun. His short hair is dark blue and his skin is pale in purple shadow. His clothes black save his white high neck collar.

Opposite to him, upside down, is his twin sister. While he is shadow, she is in light. She is crying, tears are falling down and staining her clothes as she calls out for her brother. She is clutching her shirt and her other hand is holding a spider lily so tight its stem is breaking in her grasp. Unlike her brother, her collar is black and her balloon sleeved shirt is ivory. She wears black overalls, knee socks and brown loafers, one darkened with spilled tears. Behind her head is a glowing crescent moon. It is the warmest and brightest thing in the image.
